What can I say about Jeremy and his staff at Pure other than they are absolutely amazing! My wife recommended Pure to me after I was involved in an accident where I hit an elk. From my very first appointment, Jeremy took the time to truly understand what happened, where I was experiencing pain, and how it was affecting me. He didn’t just rush through an appointment—he listened. Jeremy developed a treatment plan specifically around what I needed while being careful not to cause any additional flare-ups. He also made sure I was scheduled for a massage once a week right in his office so that everything worked together as part of my recovery. Throughout my treatment, we incorporated laser therapy, massage therapy, and chiropractic adjustments. I’m incredibly happy to say that I made a full recovery, and I truly credit Jeremy and his entire team for helping me get there. It can be difficult nowadays to find a doctor who is not only knowledgeable, but also personable, compassionate, and genuinely listens to his patients. Jeremy is that kind of doctor. I would go back to him in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone looking for someone who genuinely cares about the people he treats. I’m so grateful I found this clinic in Bellevue! After attending the clinic, my back and neck pain improved so much. The doctor was incredibly kind, gentle, and professional, and the entire staff was warm and welcoming. I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout my visits. Dr. Jeremy Welch is likely literally assuring that my golden years are ones of health and vigor, as opposed to what otherwise what was to likely have unknowingly befallen me! I’ve always had a weak lower back, poor posture and an unstable gait. Nevertheless, I’ve gone on daily hikes for decades and generally felt fine (other than occasionally throwing my lower back, which was debilitating!).  I even tried to confirm that my condition was nothing more serious by regularly seeing a chiropractor for a few years, and he assured me that other than adjusting for occasional leg length differential, my spine/back was in fine shape. Now we get to Dr. Welch. I recently moved, saw Dr. Welch in the Seattle Met list of “Best Doctors” and had my first exam a few days ago. Near the end he noted a slight drooping of my right shoulder and said there was a 50/50 chance an x-ray might prove helpful to determine the cause. (This was surprising itself because he really left the option of the x-ray expense fully to me, even though he clearly had concerns.) I asked for the x-ray, and long story short it clearly showed I have moderate to severe Idiopathic Scoliosis with attendant complications, and apparently have had so for decades! No one else had caught it (though apparently they should have in the Jr. High screening many receive), because I am one of the few that apart from my issues mentioned above, I had no back pain or other issues. I am 65 and will likely start to exhibit the consequences of aging, and this diagnosis was of great concern! Dr. Welch recommended I share the x-rays with my physician. He further gave me a list of exercises specific for strengthening my back against further deterioration caused by my condition, and I have been following his direction on this religiously. Thank God for Dr. Welch’s expertise, skill and diligence in being the first in the likely decades I’ve had this condition to discover it, as given my lack of current pain these strengthening exercises will likely facilitate my flourishing in my aging years notwithstanding this condition!
